The setting of this book is Theaseus Cassio and his mom moving to Thunder Bay. They moved to Thunder Bay because one task was already completed. "Hunting down and killing the undead, ghosts." Now he is after the one and only Anna Dressed In Blood. The two main characters that I am reading of right now is Theaseus Cassio and Carmel Jones. Theaseus Cassio is a kid who likes dangerous missions and always has sarcastic humor thoughts. Carmel Jones is the popular know it all queen bee who gives Theaseus Cassio information on the one and only Anna Dressed in blood. Not only that she is giving him information but is clueless on Theaseus just using her to get to Anna Dressed in blood.
The plot of this book is where Theaseus Cassio moves to Thunder Bay to track down the undead.The main one he is trying to kill is Anna Dressed in Blood. He and this ex of Carmel Jones go to Annas abandon house and Theaseus got wacked in the back of the head and got put in Anna's death house. But instead of Anna killing who ever steps foot in the house Anna killed the one who put Theaseus in the house and saved his life. you might think Theaseus is going to fall in love with Carmel Jones but instead you'll find out on your own. one thing that is extremely creepy that happend in the book is that Theaseus got three other people to do an exersizm. They were all chanting words to make Anna weak. The chanting was showing everyone her past on how she was murdered. The tone of the voices in their head was sadness and terror.
The plot of this book is where Theaseus moves to thunder bay and visits Anna dressed in blood every night because he couldn't sleep. Then he told thomas that its time to get rid of Anna because Thomas has figured her out.
Honestly don't understand how this was a gateway nominee. Anna dressed in blood is about Theseus Casio, a boy who hunts supernatural things, his target in thunder bay is Anna. The plot thicken (barely) when Anna, instead of killing Theseus when a group of pranksters puts him in her house, spares his life, and kills the prankster instead. It's a good story, if you don't want to think too much, don't get me wrong. The problem is it has little to no literary merit. It didn't provoke me to think, I read the story, I thought it was cute, if a bit predictable, and I never touched it again. I didn't even read the sequel. It was a nice read, and I wouldn't tell someone not to read it, but I wouldn't suggest putting it at the top of your list. If you're into supernatural fiction, go for it. If you're into supernatural fiction with more than a basic story line, don't bother. Breanna R
